Three Ways to Cancel a Transaction
Pressing any of these 3 buttons will cancel a transaction
- Selecting “No”
- Selecting “Cancel”
- Pressing the “Cancel” button
Using the Back Button
Only the EMV device can be used to cancel a payment, hitting back in the browser will get the device and the POS (i.e. CIvicRec) out of sync.
For example, if you use the browser ‘back’ button when prompted to use the PIN-pad
Your EMV/PIN-pad device may still be on this screen.
Use the Cancel button to get the POS and the device back in sync.
