Overview 

This process is necessary for CivicPlus Pay to be allowed to communicate with the Forte gateway.

Client Responsibilities

If you (as the client) do not set up API credentials nor furnish the correct information to CivicPlus, users will not be able to complete a transaction.

Instructions

1. Log in to Forte
   
2. Navigate to Developer
   
3. Click on API Credentials
   
4. Click on Create
   
   
5. Enter a Name
   
6. Click Create New API Key
   
   
7. Copy the API Access ID and the API Secure Key
   
   
   • Note: You will need to provide each of these to CivicPlus

Gathering Organization and Location ID

You will need to provide your organization ID and the location ID to CivicPlus.

1. Your organization ID is located at the top of the screen
   
2. Navigate to Locations
   
   
3. View the Location ID
   
   
4. Provide your API Access ID, API Secure Key, Organization ID, and location ID to CivicPlus
